Bryan Tepper has proudly called Surrey home for over 20 years, living in Ocean Park with his wife, Rona. Following his transfer to the Surrey RCMP Detachment, Bryan quickly developed a deep appreciation for the community and has dedicated his career to serving its residents.
Bryan served as an RCMP officer for many years, including the last decade as a patrol supervisor in Surrey. His experience on the front lines gave him firsthand insight into the challenges facing families and businesses, while also allowing him to celebrate the strength and diversity of the community.
As Treasurer of the Mounted Police Professional Association of Canada (MPPAC), Bryan played a key role in the landmark court case that secured RCMP members’ right to collective representation, a significant milestone for police officers across Canada.
Bryan and Rona are active volunteers with several local organizations, including the Ocean Park Community Association, Crescent Beach Property Owners Association, Crescent Beach Swim Club, Surrey Orcas Water Polo, and the Crescent Beach Yacht Club. Rona also serves on the Board of Governors for Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue.
Bryan’s priorities include restoring public safety through a justice system that supports victims, holds repeat offenders accountable, and ensures police and first responders have the resources they need to keep communities safe. He is also focused on strengthening healthcare by recruiting more healthcare professionals and expanding training opportunities in British Columbia. In addition, Bryan supports the responsible development of Canada’s natural resources to help grow the economy and generate the revenue needed to invest in essential public services, including healthcare.
