Professional Career
Lynne has devoted her career to education, leadership, and community engagement. Her experience spans the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary sectors, where she taught students, trained educators, and facilitated professional learning. She also founded Youth Engaged in Social Responsibility Forums, encouraging young people to become active and informed citizens.
A graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education Administration, Lynne has spent her career advancing student success and fostering collaborative leadership. She served six years as an elected School Trustee in West Vancouver, advocating for strong educational outcomes, responsible governance, and fiscal accountability. As Shadow Minister for Education, she continues to champion excellence in education and opportunities for all students.
Community Involvement
Community service has always been central to Lynne’s life. Over the years, she has supported a wide range of local organizations and initiatives, including the Canadian Cancer Society, Streamkeepers, Sharing Abundance, the Coho Society, and the Dundarave Festival of Lights.
Lynne believes strong communities are built through service, collaboration, and respect. She remains committed to listening, leading, and working alongside residents to help ensure West Vancouver-Capilano continues to be a thriving community for generations to come.
