Tony Luck is the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Fraser-Nicola and serves as the Conservative Party of British Columbia’s Critic for Municipal Affairs and Local Government. Born and raised in British Columbia, Tony is committed to strengthening communities through practical leadership, responsible government, and strong local representation.
Tony brings decades of experience in both the public and private sectors, having worked as a financial planner, spent 26 years with BC Hydro, and built a successful career as a professional realtor. Prior to his election to the Legislative Assembly, he served as a City Councillor in both Merritt and Mission and represented local governments through the Fraser Valley Regional District and the Southern Interior Local Government Association (SILGA). These experiences gave him a strong understanding of municipal governance and the challenges facing communities across British Columbia.
As Municipal Affairs Critic, Tony works closely with mayors, councils, regional districts, First Nations, businesses, and community organizations throughout the province. He has represented his caucus at the SILGA Convention and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conference, advocating for stronger partnerships between provincial and local governments.
Tony believes an MLA should be visible, accessible, and engaged. Throughout Fraser-Nicola, he regularly attends community events including parades, rodeos, fall fairs, graduation ceremonies, Canada Day celebrations, Remembrance Day services, sporting events, and business roundtables. His constituency office assists residents with a wide range of provincial matters, including healthcare, WorkSafeBC and ICBC issues, transportation safety, Crown land and natural resource concerns, and other government services.
Known for his genuine and approachable nature, Tony is passionate about serving the people of Fraser-Nicola. He is committed to ensuring every community—large or small—has a strong voice in Victoria while working to build a more prosperous, accountable, and resilient British Columbia.
